It’s time for a long-overdue episode of Dyslexic Heart. As usual, we spun a bunch of songs that are rocking our world and rambled about whatever came to mind. We sort of stuck to talking about music this time. We hope you like it, but then again we really don’t care.

Regarding Dessa…a couple of years ago you guys did a live FHBM event over the 4th of July week-end. After the show, everyone stayed on-line and started chatting about stuff while music played in the background. Someone asked what the song was and you guys announced it was Crew by Dessa. That was my first exposure to this artist and I absolutely love that tune. I listen to it when I need another 1/2 mile on the treadmill. I am indebted to you for introducing that to me. I also like the sounds of some of her new stuff as played on this recent episode of DH. Things that I enjoy have been enhanced by podcasts that I never would have found had it not been for me discovering FHBM. As you know, I am a big fan of your work and I hope you enjoy doing it as much as your audience enjoys listening and participating. See you guys at VIMFP.

This was highly entertaining. First time I’ve listed to DH, and I really liked it. Got to hear some music I knew, and some music I didn’t.
My only complaint is that you didn’t spend enough time trashing people from Southern California. Can you do more next time?
